Welcome to Travel Addicts!  Co-Founded and led by Rick Orford & Andrea Spallanzani, Travel Addicts is a Travel blog aimed at share Travel Experinces. Our mentor community offers contributions in the form of stories, and are an essential part of our mission, and we love reading your pieces!  There are no set-in-stone criteria for length or format. Photos and Videos are welcomed.

We’d love to hear from you about any of the following topics:

  1. Travel Experiences
  2. Travel Tips
  3. Travel Photography
  4. Destinations

Now that you have a sense of what topics to write about, here are a few guidelines to keep in mind when submitting your pieces:

  1. Please link to all sources, studies, research, and facts that you mention in your post.

Your story will be more grounded when you make references to your points while educating your readers. While referencing a study, if you don’t mind, reference the investigation conceptual or full content of the investigation — or an article referencing the exploration from a legitimate source like The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, TIME, CNN, CNBC, Marketwatch, etc. It would be ideal if you note that in every case, it’s ideal to recognize the opposite side of thoughts, for example, any pundits’ worries about discoveries or speculations. Likewise, in the event that you quote another person, or a book or film you feel is applicable, make a point to put the statement in quotes, and give the source where you discovered it.

  1. Travel Addicts seeks to publish pieces that are relevant to our core topics (as listed above), and does not publish explicit, vulgar, or otherwise inappropriate content.

While Travel Addicts has a wide umbrella of travel related subjects about which we are eager to peruse your entries (see list above), your composition must be significant to our core themes. In the event that it isn’t, we maintain whatever authority is needed to remove/modify the contribution. Furthermore, we deferentially ask that you not utilize unseemly, express, derogatory, or generally hostile language. We maintain whatever authority is needed to remove words and other comparable language.

3.  Please always save your articles in Draft mode. Our editorial team will read it and approve it.

If you fail to do so you might be banned from future posting.

Please note that we may remove content that doesn’t adhere to these guidelines.

Please also note: On occasion, we may update the titles/subtitles and/or featured image to make your post as social and search-friendly as possible.

Don’t forget, you must have permission to use any third-party text, photos, videos or other content, and all such items must be given credit.
